about the towns we serve... North Cape May is home to the Cape May-Lewes Ferry Port and is just across the Cape May canal from the other Cape Mays. Some of the best sunsets and largest fish can be caught from the North Cape May beaches along the Delaware Bay. Fly a kite or launch your hobie cat from the shore here. Townbank was the original town in Lower Township, settled by whalers in the 1600’s. Here you’ll find a sweet assortment of beach cottages alongside bay front contemporaries, amongst sandy soil, hollies and pines. You will enjoy the annual Whale of a Day Festival and Coombs/Douglass Foot Race. Cape May Beach is a hidden jewel. Bayfront homes dot the shoreline from which you can watch the dolphin play and the sailboats bob in the Delaware Bay. Watch the butterflies flit amongst the dune grass. Villas is home to the new Villas Wildlife Management Area where you can walk, bike ride, fish or bird watch to your heart’s desire. Search our Sale Listings for a home nearby. Cold Spring straddles the canal and plays host to Historic Cold Spring Village, a replica of an 19th century village. Do a little wine tasting at the Cape May Vineyard and Winery. Or, how about some birding at the Higbee’s Beach Wildlife Management Area? Fishing Creek and Erma, two towns that played an important role in area development, once hosted lush hunting and fishing grounds. Tall ships even sailed into Week’s Landing, now part of Erma. Both towns are central to all of the seashore attractions in Cape May and Wildwood. Cape May offers Victorian architecture, Bed & Breakfast Inns, quaint shops, fine dining and theatre. Cape May hosts one of the largest fishing ports on the East Coast, where you can tour the docks at The Lobster House, and is home to the only United States Coast Guard training center (USCG Tracen). Children will enjoy a visit to the Cape May Nature Center or sailing lessons at the Corinthian Yacht Club on the harbor. Cape May Point, with its bucolic cottages, is a birder’s paradise, offering a spectacular view of the coast from the Cape May Lighthouse or stroll along the nature trails at the Cape May Point State Park. You’ll find residential real estate here as there is just one small general store. West Cape May is a burgeoning town with a character all its own – part farm, part uptown. Broadway and Park Boulevard are the hot spots of commerce, while the outskirts boast farm stands and bike trails. Where else would you find the West Cape May Lima Bean Festival? Don’t miss the West Cape May Christmas Parade. Within Cape May County, you will find the Cape May County Zoo – rated one of the best in the country. The Wildwoods offer exciting year round activities from the Fabulous 50’s and Doo Wop Weekends to Antique Car Shows and Harley Hogs on the Boardwalk.
